About Us

Casey McKern grew up in Northeast Washington playing, hunting and fishing on the shores and surrounding mountains of Lake Roosevelt. He had a diving accident while swimming in Lake Roosevelt on May 16, 2008 and he is now paralyzed.

During his recovery many individuals, organizations and businesses stepped forward to ensure Casey's parents house was ready for his return to his hometown of Kettle Falls Washington.  Knowing he could never repay all that was done for him, Casey was inspired to continue the good works of those that helped him during his recovery and Casey McKern's Pay It Forward charity was born.

Since the Pay It Forward charity was formed, we have assisted individuals facing challenges in their own lives and supported a variety of community organizations.  Check out our How We've Helped page for more information.
Casey McKern's Pay It Forward charity is a private non-profit charity.  Our Federal Identification Number is 45-2722994.
